Your stay at the campsite starts with a homely welcome in the reception and mini market where you can buy your bread rolls and acquire information about the surrounding area. Wifi is available on almost the entire campsite. If you need to do some shopping, you can borrow our free bike with shopping basket. Every camping pitch has a 6 Amp connection. Of course we always make sure you’ll have a clean and fresh sanitary facility. We hope you'll feel at ease quickly at our campsite.
Reception and minimarket
We like to receive you in a homely atmosphere
The reception area is partly our home. We would like to welcome you in that atmosphere. The mini market is part of the reception area. Here, you find a basic range of foods, and it’s the place to order your fresh baked bread. French bread for the barbecue can be ordered all day.
The reception area is open daily, opening times depending on the number of guests. The door is closed only, when we are enjoying our meals.
Restaurant 't Karrewiel
Lunch, dinner, drinks or takeaway
Restaurant 't Karrewiel is located in the old farm and serves lunch, dinner and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. Snacks can also be picked up directly at the bar. While you enjoy your drink, your children can have fun in the adjacent playground or splash around with water fountains in the Splash Playground next to the terrace. Explore the area with our bicycles and children's bicycles
You don’t fancy bringing your own bike? We do have enough modern bikes ready for you to explore the area. We also have childrens' bikes, seats and carts and a dog cart so that we can almost always provide a solution for you. If you need to do some shopping, you can borrow our free bike with shopping basket. Sporty and environmentally friendly at the same time.

Always online, or maybe not?
Wireless internet can be received on almost the entire campsite. You can use a free network with limited speed. Prefer to use the internet faster? Then codes can be purchased at the reception for one or more days and weeks (from € 3). Please note that the speed may be lower than at home.
Playing fun
Play and discover together with your friends
Various playgrounds can be found throughout the campsite. An adventurous playground to play and jump on the waterbed at the fish pond, the central playground to climb and swing, and a nature playground to play with sand and other natural materials. Children find their way easily.

Sanitary and laundry
Take a hot shower in the open air ...
There are three sanitary blocks which are modern and fully equipped. Heating is on in colder periods and in winter only one block remains open. During the corona period, two heated outdoor showers were also made, and they are so loved that they stay. There is a fun and comfortable children/family department and part of the blocks are heated with solar collectors. In peak season we clean multiple times a day. Nearby the reception, you find the launderette. A washing coin costs €5. A coin for the dryer costs €2.

In the preseason there are regular activities for children and in the summer holidays we offer a program for the 4+, 8+ and 12+ age groups six days a week.

Fishpond
A wonderful place to relax
The fishpond is one of the best locations at the site. It’s only a short walk along the sports field and there you will enter another world. On one side, you’ll be overlooking the polder scenery. On the other side, you’ll notice the sheep on the dike. It’s our own scenic area where you peacefully can fish for carp. Or just take a walk to this spot, but don’t be surprised if you meet a roe or a spoonbill.
SEP Card for warm water
Consciously using water
Showering and washing up can only be done with the help of the "sep-card" to be upgraded at the reception. The purchase price is € 5.00 per card, which also has a credit balance of € 5.00. We use this pre-paid system to stimulate responsible water consumption. The used shower credit is automatically debited from your card (€ 0.12 per minute shower / € 0.15 per wash). The unused credit will be refunded at the end of your stay. The above does not apply if you stay with an ACSI, NKC, CKE or ADAC discount package.
Wheel chair access
Adapted facilities for wheelchair users
We have one wheelchair-friendly chalet that is suitable for 5 people and can be rented per mid (week) or weekend. More information about prices and availability can be found here. At the campsite, the sanitary building opposite field K has a toilet with a wide entrance and two armrests and a family shower with shower chair. In the family shower at Lijster field there is a shower chair with armrest, and there is also a toilet with armrest and wide passage. Wheelchair access is available in Restaurant 't Karrewiel.
Charging your car or cycle battery
Make use of the charging stations for car and e-bike
There are two car charging stations in the central parking lot that are connected to the national network of charging points. Do you want to charge your electric bicycle during your visit to the campsite or restaurant? Then use the charging points next to the terrace of Restaurant 't Karrewiel.
